James Walter

James Walter

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

James Walter is proven leader with extensive experience creating and managing the implementation of innovative technologies. He has a proven history of success leading teams in sales, engineering, product development, and operations within growth and enterprise level companies giving James the ability to not only see opportunity but to effectively manage implementation.

As the CEO of BBC Easy, James uses his rich experience working with SAAS based technologies to help banks reduce costs and increase efficiency by streamlining the expensive and highly inefficient Borrowing Base Certificate process. Having started and ran a highly successful financial services company, Fusion Business Finance, James saw first-hand how inefficient the BBC process was. Working with his team of veteran banking, financial services, and technology experts, James created an affordable SAAS based BBC automation process that saved borrowers and bankers valuable time and money. BBC Easy is currently deployed in several banks of all sizes.

James has decades of experience serving in leadership at several technology companies including executive leadership experience at MidStream technologies, serving as a top ranked program manager at Microsoft, in addition to founding several successful startups.

James is a graduate of the University of Alaska in Computer Science and resides in Seattle where he works with various startup incubators helping other startup CEOs advance their own businesses.

Corey Ross

Founder and Director

Corey Ross is a veteran banking and financial services executive with a long history of success managing sales and servicing departments for small and large financial services organizations. His extensive banking and lending background with companies such as Bank of America, Access Business Finance, and Banner Bank have given Corey insights into the Borrowing Base Certificate (BBC) process that few possess.

Corey currently serves as the co-founder and VP of Sales for BBC Easy. Having served on the lending side, Corey saw first-hand the inefficiency, cost and customer dissatisfaction that BBCs cause. Working with a team of seasoned technology and systems automation experts, Corey developed BBC Easy, an affordable SaaS Borrowing Base Certificate automation technology that saves borrowers and bankers valuable time and money. BBC Easy is currently deployed in multiple banks of all sizes.

Corey has a long history of success including co-founding Fusion Business Finance, a successful multi-million dollar asset-based lending company, and launching a factoring group at Bank of America which went on to be the highest producing department in the nation. He also ran the factoring department of Access Business Finance where he developed and managed a $10 million portfolio without a single loss throughout his tenure.

Corey holds degrees in Finance and Economics from Eastern Washington University.

Gregg Blodgett

Gregg Blodgett

Director and Chief Financial Officer

Gregg brings over 30 years of finance and operating experience to BBC Easy. Most recently he served as CFO for Twisted Pair Solutions, a venture-backed startup which developed IP- based software for critical group communications in command and control environments. Previously Gregg was CFO and director of manufacturing and corporate development for Midstream Technologies, and Senior Vice President-Network Services Division of TeleCommunication Systems Corp (NASDAQ:TSYS), where he had overall responsibility for the wireless location software and ASP business. As CFO and VP Service Deployment at XYPOINT prior to its acquisition by TSYS, Gregg helped drive the company to national prominence as a recognized leader in the design and roll-out of wireless E9-1-1 services. Gregg earlier was CFO at PHAMIS, Inc., (NASDAQ:PHAM) a developer of enterprise wide medical information software, where he directed the firm’s successful initial public offering and subsequent merger with IDX Systems Corp. Gregg is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Washington in Accounting and spent nine years with Deloitte and Touche and several other firms in the financial services industry.

Peter Rosser

Peter Rosser

Software Architect

Peter brings over 20 years of software development and internet technology experience to BBC Easy. Prior to joining BBC Easy, Peter worked at Microsoft Corporation for 11 years, where he led development teams delivering software such as Xbox 360, Zune, Windows Media Center, and MSN. His work included innovations in natural user interface design with Kinect, core multimedia technology used in millions of computers every day, and natural language processing that drives some of the most popular web sites in the world. Peter is the primary inventor on several patents, in the areas of natural language analysis, user interfaces, and core computing algorithms. Before Microsoft, Peter founded Internet of Yakima, an internet service provider that delivered dial-up and high-speed internet services.
